THE STORY

FROM TRADITIONAL PRODUCTION TO GENERATIVE CREATION

Tuhin Dasgupta’s career began long before Generative AI, rooted in retail and evolving into full-scale multimedia production.

From 2001 onwards, he developed a deep passion for filmmaking, working across editing, motion graphics, VFX and 3D. During his time as Multimedia Producer at B&Q Plc, he produced over 4,500 videos, building a foundation in high-volume, high-quality content creation.

In 2010, he founded Toinspire Productions Ltd, delivering traditional filming and production across brand films, corporate content and documentaries.

Over the years, this work has taken him around the world, from New York to São Paulo, across Europe, Dubai, India and China, including the production of over 150 documentaries across Asia. His work has been displayed on the Nasdaq Tower in New York and also on the tallest display at NRF in New York for Intel.

Working with global organisations including WPP and Kantar, the focus has always remained the same: craft, storytelling, and cinematic precision.

In 2017, he co-founded Studio Stream, specialising in virtual studio production and live broadcast webinars, working alongside industry partners such as Manfrotto to deliver innovative green screen studio environments.

THE SHIFT

In 2024, Tuhin made a deliberate decision to explore Generative AI, not as a replacement for filmmaking, but as a new production layer.

Early work focused on still imagery, including visual content created for The History of Retail in 100 Objects by David Roth at WPP.

At the time, AI animation was still limited.

That changed rapidly.

By 2025, a new generation of tools enabled reliable, high-quality AI-driven motion, unlocking entirely new creative possibilities.

SCALING CINEMATIC AI

In 2025, Tuhin created the opening film for the World Retail Congress, marking one of the first large-scale uses of AI-generated video in that environment.

The response was immediate.

Since then, the work has evolved into large-format, high-resolution cinematic productions — including a near 10K opening sequence displayed across a 30m x 3m screen (9840 x 1008) in front of a global audience of industry leaders at the 2026 World Retail Congress held in April 2026.

These projects pushed both the technical and creative boundaries of what AI-driven filmmaking can achieve.

A CONTINUOUS INVESTMENT IN CRAFT

Today, Tuhin continues to invest in the latest Generative AI technologies, not to follow trends, but to ensure clients benefit from the most advanced and effective creative tools available.

Alongside visual production, he also develops original AI-generated music through AI MUSIC SCORES, a platform with over 140,000 subscribers. This work now underpins the soundtracks used across client projects, bringing visuals and audio together under a single creative direction.

His work has also reached global audiences across digital platforms, generating tens of millions of views, demonstrating both creative impact and audience engagement at scale.

THE CONSTANT

While the tools have evolved, the thinking has not.

Every project still begins the same way: with story, composition, lighting, and intent.

The difference now is speed, flexibility, and the ability to create without the traditional constraints of production.
